Lithium Ricinoleate 50% is a highly efficient catalyst for alcoholysis or trans-esterification reactions for manufacturing alkyd resins. Lithium Ricinoleate speeds up the alcoholysis step considerably, produces lighter-colored mono-glycerides, and eliminates precipitation (insoluble soap formation). Lithium Ricinoleate is useful for improving the yield in difficult esterifications and is particularly effective in the manufacture of dehydrated castor oil alkyds.

Magnesium Ricinoleate is a stabilized variant of P-®10 Acid. It has lower acid value, lower hydroxyl value and lower reactivity than P-®10 Acid. It is used in the same applications listed above for P-®10 Acid.

Lubricin® N-1 is a highly refined methyl ricinoleate for lubricating oils, motor fuels, upper cylinder lubricants, cutting oils and gear oils. It functions to reduce rusting, corrosion and wear of metal parts and exhibits detergent action on tar, varnish and carbon deposits.

Emulsion A Oil is designed to be an important component of emulsion type automobile and furniture polishes and cleaners that impart a durable, high luster protective film. Emulsion A oil contains no volatiles and enriches the surface of wood, metal and paint. Water-based polishes are prepared by emulsifying the oil with alkalies and amines or non-ionic emulsifiers.
