Coscat® 28 A proprietary 100% organobismuth compound which was specifically developed as a catalyst for 2-component polyurethane systems. Coscat® 28 catalyst is recommended for a wide range of elastomeric systems where reduced catalyst toxicity is desirable. Coscat® 28 catalyst provides a reduced toxicity alternative to organo-metallic carboxylates based on lead, mercury or tin without sacrificing performance. Coscat® 28 catalyst has no diluent and has a high selectivity toward the polyol-isocyanate reaction, thus avoiding bubble generation at low levels of moisture.
